The Story
Years ago, in Central America, a unique mahogany tree began a journey toward something special. This tree was the source of a remarkable creation by artist and luthier Tim Ronan. After more than two years of careful work, under the full moon in February 2024, the Infinite Garden guitar was completed—a tribute to the Ethereum Foundation.
Made from the wood of a single, seasoned mahogany tree that had air-dried for three years, this guitar combines traditional luthiery techniques with modern technology and CNC tooling. The result is an instrument that reflects both traditional craftsmanship and contemporary precision.
Although the original tree can no longer produce leaves, its essence lives on in the guitar. It represents the core of cryptographic innovation and disruption, aligning with Ethereum's mission. To support decentralization and security, the guitar includes an NFT that links legal ownership to the instrument. This NFT ensures legal claim to the guitar, and an RFID chip hidden behind the neck joint maintains its blockchain identification, preserving its legacy for the future.
